May is the month of the Society's fung raising dinner. The dinner will again be held at the Tremont Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on the coner of RT9 and S Sampson on Tuesday May 18th. The program will be given by Burdell Halls on Morton Pottery. They will talk about the pottery and then tell about a few peices brought by members. Members are asked not to bring any more than 2 peices each. This should be a fun time. Don't miss it. Faye and Larry Childress and Dave and Janis Lee will be hosting the event. Dues are now $10 for a Single Membership, $15 for a family membership and $150 for a Life Membership. The society"s year runs from September 1st to September 1st. We them publish the membership list in the January newsletter. Memberships may be obtained at the museum or b;y sending a check to the Tremont Museun and Historical Society, PO Box 738, Tremont, Il. 61568. Memberships include a newsletter that is published five times a year. Anyone who is interested may join.
The museum is open from 2pm to 4pm on the Second Sunday of the month. Admission for others is $1.
